Business Card Research

Before I went about making my own business card, I took a look at existing business cards, both in animation and other areas. I wanted to see if there were any running themes I could emulate in my business card. With the animator business cards, the majority of them have drawings on them, often a caricature almost of themselves. I like the fun aspect of that, but I'm not sure if it looks the most professional. Also while I like to draw, I'm not the most skilled freehand artist, and I don't want to have a drawing on my business card just for the sake of it.

The business cards I prefer are the ones that keep things simple. I like the look of just having a couple of colours, and name and logo clearly shown. I don't want my business card to be boring, but I want it to look professional, and not be too distracting to look at.
